About the event
The American Heiress creates multimedia productions infused with song and dance to teach true American History in style. The performances masterfully weave historical documentation, legislation, oral history, and clips from current events and movies to reveal hidden aspects of the past all while sharing the stories of her ancestors, which include The Indian Kings and Queens of Virginia, the Hildebrands of the Trail of Tears, and the founders of Pocahontas, Arkansas. These stories powerfully reveal a lost history and heritage of Black Americans around the world and set the record straight once and for all. The American Heiress also gracefully delves into subjects like identity and race in America, colonization, racism, understanding and overcoming slave mentalities, and the upliftment of humanity today in a experience that is both soul healing and eye opening.
